Lights Up!
We had an amazing event on Sunday 11th November 2018 for Armistice Day remembering the end of WW1 100 years ago. At 6pm we had a service by Reverend Andrew Spurr who was accompanied by a reading by Alan Booth. The music was sung by children from St Marys School, Broadway, Deborah Rose and Martin Riley which came from an intergenerational project. The last post was played and then the bells rang out as the colours changed throughput the hour to eventually end in a red colour. The new lights are permanent so you can see them every evening from dusk to 11pm.
