On Saturday 24 October 2020 Evesham Bell Tower was lit purple to mark World Polio Day. The campaign in the UK is known as ‘Purple4Polio’ because purple is the colour used on children’s fingers to show they have been vaccinated. This has been supported by the Rotary Foundation and Evesham Rotary has been part of this campaign for many years in various ways. We are delighted the lighting of the Bell Tower can be used to promote such a good cause.
