Drop in arts and crafts workshops

We ran drop in arts and crafts workshops at The Battle of Evesham in the summer using ideas from the Evesham coat of Arms and those of the leading families involved in The Battle of Evesham. People made their own family coat of arms.

We were also at The Valley and The Almonry Museum in May running visual arts workshops. People made a shield of The Battle of Evesham, painted Evesham church windows on acetate and painted watercolours of one of Evesham’s historic buildings. We were also at The River Festival on 14 July as well making community collages about the history of the river. These ideas will feed in to the Almonry projection.
